EP - Push for Flynn

EP - Push for Flynn

Following the many working parties over the past few weeks, Edgeley Park is looking pretty decent.

Help The Hatters have been instrumental in this, with appeals for fans to pick up a paint brush and get stuck in.

Photos of the work achieved can be found on Ian Brown's excellent site
hedgegrower.blogspot.co.uk - please pop over and comment.

Now, Mike Flynn's testimonial is rapidly approaching (Fri 18th July) and an appeal for a final push to spurce up the ground in time for the game has been made.

And here it is...

------------------

All.

We are pushing on with getting EP ready for the new season, but need to get in a Saturday to get at jobs which normally, with County training and the volume of Hardcastle Rd parking on a Tuesday, proves difficult if not impossible to do.

So ......number 1 is to finish off the Main Stand frontage on Hardcastle Rd.

The walkway inside also needs to be tackled whilst no one is charging around.

Other things remain to be done before we switch attention to the Cheadle End, so I am appealing for anyone who can to turn out at 09.00( 9 a.m)to see the job done.

It would help, to get an idea how many bodies we are likely to have doing the biz, so ...if you are able to help please ,on this occasion, would you e mail me to advise @ madhatterib@virginmedia.com.

If you do not email me , you can still turn up, but an email would help.

I realise I am constantly `at you' with requests to help, and I thank you for the terrific response so far, which has enabled us to get a massive amount sorted.

I look forward to seeing you Saturday 9 a.m., or failing that next Tuesday at 18.30 for the scheduled WP.

Regards

Ian Brown

I think it's really cracking what's been done - can't wait to pop along in a few weeks to see all the good work!
