This I think is the appointment that should have been made instead of Kale****. While I am pleased about the appointment I think it will be too late. Based purely on our form and run in and that of the teams around us the probable final placings will leave us with 43 points. 8 points ahead of Telford, 1 point below Ebbsfleet & Lincoln, 2 points behind Barrow. I desperately hope I'm proved wrong and we can pull it off. The people who are to suffer most if we do go down are the blameless ones, thats us the fans. Jim Gannon must be held partially responsible for going too far with his youth policy. Jimmy Melia tried it with us many years ago & it didnt work then either. But the ones most at blame is the board for making such a ridiculous managerial appointment. Snape in particular is a County fan and has been for many years and I'm sure the appointment was made with the best of intentions. But they got it wrong and the least they could do is to formally appologise to us all for getting it wrong. A rethink on pricing especially if we are heading for BS North would not go amiss. The pricing statement from the CEO was taking the p**s. He needs to wind his neck in and start talking to the fans not dictating to us.

I watched DK post match interview and he didn't even know how many games we had left !!!! goodness me what a shambles so for sure I am glad he has gone....we can ....beat Newport on Saturday !!!....it was your report on a recent away game NE that set alarm bells re DK for me,,,,,good luck to the new mamager.

My gut feeling is that this is too late. Agree NE - a re-think on pricing needs to be made if we do go down. I think we will have to go part-time as well. Will be in the main stand on Saturday (if we are not snowed off!) and will be giving 100% support as usual. A win against Newport will be a minor miracle though.
