Stockport County Sign Simon Hackney
Stockport County have announced the signing of Simon Hackney after a successful trial with the club.
The 29 year old left winger was part of the Woodley Sports team including Liam Dickinson and had real promise, before joining Carlisle United and going on to make 117 appearances for the club.
Since then he has been around the leagues at Colchester, Morecambe, Oxford, Rochdale and Hereford. He also had a spell at FC Halifax but has yet to settle anywhere.
We hope Simon can settle here and show us the early promise he had. Good luck Simon!
