Newton and Hobson recognised !

In the last two weeks County have had two of their players recognised by the Blue Square Premier officials. This had lead to them being included in the team of the week for The Blue Square.

Hobson was added to the squad last Monday and this Monday Sean Newton has been added to the squad after an impressive performance against Kidderminster Harriers at the weekend where The Hatters won 1-0.

As if we didn't need telling, something good is beginning to stir at Edgeley Park under Jim Gannon's stewardship. I'd bet there will be a few other players recognised before this season is out.

A reminder of this Saturday's (20th October) game against Stalybridge in the FA Cup. If County can overcome Stalybridge they will go into the draw for the first round proper. I would imagine a good 500+ making the short journey round the M60 so a cracking atmosphere is in prospect. Get down to Edgeley Park and support Jim Gannon's Blue and White revolution!
